Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and closing deals in the asset finance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s market presence in the asset finance industry
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including manufacturers, dealers, and end-users, to generate new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the asset finance market
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, risk, and operations, to structure and negotiate financing solutions that meet clients’ needs
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to promote the company’s products and services
  • Monitor and track sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure the company’s business practices are in line with industry standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in the finance industry

  • Strong understanding of finance products, services, and market dynamics

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, building relationships with clients, and closing deals

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
