Chatsbrook are proud to say that last year we raised over 10k for our chosen charities such as @norfolkandwaveneymind @eachhospices @charitytbf @norwichcitycsf.
We love supporting charities that mean a lot to us, especially the work of MIND, a mental health charity working to reduce mental health stigma, aid recovery and provide support services for all. With up to 84% of people experiencing a mental health problem at some point in their lifetime, this was a cause that Chatsbrook really wanted to get behind.
We took on a series of challenges to raise as much as we could for the charity. To mark World Suicide Prevention Day, MIND invited us to take part in a walking relay through Norfolk and Waveney. Amy & John from Chatsbrook took the Hingham to Ketteringham 10 mile leg, starting outside @designbynaked HQ back to Ketteringham Hall. We were also proud to have raised over £1,300 thanks to entrance fees and donations from our successful summer car meet.
Following that, Chatsbrook took to the sky at Beccles Airfield to complete a sponsored Skydive. A total of £1,247 was raised in donations for MIND, which we are very grateful for. The challenges are ongoing at Chatsbrook and so is the support we hope to give to charities like these. As we enter 2023, we can’t wait to take on more testing activities in order to raise money for MIND this year.
Over the festive period, we took on something we’ve never done before! A convoy of performance cars made their way down to the Children’s Hospice. It was heartwarming to see beaming smiles on little faces as the fleet of Porsches, McLarens, Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Aston Martins made their way down to the Hospice.
Santa sat at the wheel of the Chatsbrook Defender, leading the way, raising over £4,200 in total. The Children’s Hospice has a special place in our hearts, delivering care and support for children and young people with life-threatening conditions. Bringing a smile to the faces of children and young people made our day, and is something we will be certain to repeat this year.
We look forward to supporting lots more charities this year and finding new and exciting ways to raise donations. Thank you for your ongoing support – without you and your donations, it wouldn’t be possible! No matter how big or small, it all helps.
