Job Description

A client manager proactively identifies and generate opportunities through a database of existing customers in line with the company sales strategy to enhance our position within the finance sector whilst ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered every time. They will generate a strong business relationship through targeting prospects, delivering lead generation via telemarketing and e-mail with a view to identify sales opportunities, while working closely with the Business Development Managers.  You will be numerate, quick, have great phone/selling manner, be interested in the whole picture and impact on the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To identify and perform outbound sales calls, including lead generation, lead follow-up and sales qualification

  • Maintaining the database ensuring all Customer/Vendor information is up to date and accurate

  • Building profitable and enduring relationships with new and existing targeted Customer/Vendor opportunities

  • Maintain & prospect the database that supports the wider ambition of the business

  • Achieve allocated monthly / quarterly sales targets and KPIs

  • Provide support to colleagues within the Business Development team as required

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Experience of working in a telesales or tele appointment role

  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Highly results focused with a winning mindset
  • Deep understanding of telephone-based selling and business development processes and evidence of robust adherence to these
  • Provable selling skills, strong negotiation and ability to close
  • Ability to interact effectively at multi-levels
  • Effective time management
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • MS Office skills with a high level of numeracy and Excel skills
