Our Terms of Business under which we conduct business.
We are Chatsbrook, a trading name for Chatsbrook Finance Limited Registered in England and Wales 10320904 and Chatsbrook Capital Limited Registered in England and Wales 10320493, our registered office is Ketteringham Hall, Church Road, Ketteringham, NR18 9RS.
Chatsbrook Finance Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, our FCA registration number is 803820 which can be verified by viewing the Financial Services Register at www.fca.org.uk. Chatsbrook Finance Limited is a broker not a lender, as such we can introduce you to a wide range of finance providers depending on your requirements and circumstances.
We will provide you with either comparable details of firms most appropriate to your lending or purchase requirements or general information relating to finance products. In assessing your requirements, we may seek such information about your personal circumstances and objectives as might be relevant in order to enable us to identify your needs. It is important that you provide us with accurate and relevant information. You will not receive advice, or a recommendation from us, but we may ask questions to narrow down the selection of firms offered, from which you can more easily make your own choice if you so wish.
We shall provide quotations based on our lenders cost of funds / rates at the time of request. The lender has the right to change or decline these quotes on receipt of the full proposal.
Chatsbrook Finance Limited do not charge our customers an arrangement fee for credit brokering services our remuneration is an introductory payment payable by the lender, if your details were provided to ourselves through one of our panel of introducers, they may also receive a portion of the commission received from the lender. Generally we do not have influence over the rate of commission paid, however with some asset finance lenders, we do and this can impact the interest rate you will pay under the agreement.
Documentation fees and Option to Purchase Fees are charged by all finance companies but vary from lender to lender, details will be disclosed when discussing your requirements.
Chatsbrook Finance Ltd charge an administration fee of £195 Plus VAT (£234 Inc VAT) for the supply of vehicles which includes contract hire agreements and vehicle purchases which are transacted through Chatsbrook Finance Ltd. This shall be payable at the point of the vehicle order prior to completion. Payment of the administration fee can be made by BACS transfer, cheque or credit card.
Should you choose to cancel your order, Chatsbrook Finance Limited will not charge you. However, the supplying dealer may levy a cancellation charge and they will notify you of this.
The Client agrees to act with utmost good faith in the provision of information to Chatsbrook. The duty is continuous and applies to all the information the Client provides, whether requested or whether the Client has provided it voluntarily. The Client agrees not to withhold information from Chatsbrook.
The Client agrees to take all reasonable steps and use all reasonable endeavours to comply with and satisfy any condition imposed by the Lender who has made a Finance Offer that accords with the requirements set out in the Confirmation of Instructions letter.
Chatsbrook Finance Limited shall maintain professional indemnity insurance cover in respect of its business with and on standard terms offered by reputable insurers.
During the process of a business transaction we shall need to collect personal information from you and this will be passed on to one or more third party lenders to enable them to make a credit decision. We will also need to pass personal data to asset, insurance and maintenance suppliers following acceptance of finance and your order and within our company for reporting purposes. We will not disclose your personal details outside of this unless we have your express permission. For full details please see our Privacy Policy.
Our Customers are extremely important to us and whilst we aim to provide a trouble free and excellent level of service, we know that sometimes things go wrong. If you have cause to complain, we take any complaint very seriously and promise to deal with it promptly, effectively and in a positive manner.
A complaint may be made to any member of our staff who will record the following details on our Customer Complaint Record, and send you a copy of our full complaints procedure which may also be found on our website.
Through business engagement with Chatsbrook you are agreeing that you have read and understand these terms. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
Certain documents may be executed and delivered by electronic means, including by email or through an electronic signature platform. By electronically signing this document, you agree that your electronic signature constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth in this Terms of Business. You further acknowledge that electronic signatures are legally binding and enforceable in the same manner as a physical signature, in accordance with applicable laws. The parties agree that this method of acceptance shall be sufficient to bind the parties and is as valid as a traditional ink signature.
“The execution of this Agreement by electronic mail or by any other electronic means shall be deemed to constitute effective execution of this Agreement by the parties. Such electronic signatures may be used by the parties in place of wet ink signature page(s) of this Agreement for any or all purposes”.
